Sales Executive

This is an opportunity for a full time sales/design consultant to join the growing Rookery Barns team to provide a high quality service for individually designed oak framed garden buildings, garages and residential annexes across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex.  The position offers excellent earnings potential for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Undertake pre-booked appointments at potential clients’ homes to discuss requirements, advise on design options, optimum positioning of buildings and local authority planning considerations.
• Prepare building design sketches.
• Prepare client costings and quotations,
• Follow-up quotations, address client quotation queries, maintain client contact.
• Assist in preparing planning documentation for our planning consultants.

Skills and Experience

Required:

• Knowledge of construction and an understanding of building methods (ideally timber framed buildings).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Driving licence.

Preferred:

• Sales experience with proven track record of success.
• Ability to create building designs.
• Some knowledge of local authority planning procedures.
• Experience in estimating.
• Experience of working in a small team.

Remuneration:

• £30-50K annual basic.
• Generous commission with uncapped earnings.
